Professional Experience
I am originally from Burbank, California, and moved to Oregon in 2018 to attend Oregon State University. I have always been interested in the legal field, and that interest really grew during my time in college. While I was there, I double majored in Psychology and Sociology with a focus in crime and justice. Throughout undergrad, many of the classes I took focused on the complexities of the criminal justice system and ultimately inspired me to go to law school.
After graduating from Oregon State, I attended Lewis & Clark Law School. Following my first year, I began clerking here at Harris Velazquez Gibbens where I assisted attorneys with their cases by drafting motions, doing legal research, and interacting with clients. After my second year, I became a Certified Law Student and carried my own caseload under the supervision of an attorney. This gave me the chance to represent clients in a wide variety of hearings and gain valuable courtroom experience. For me, the best part of this work is connecting with people and guiding them through the court process that can often feel overwhelming.
After a year of being a Certified Law Student at Harris Velazquez Gibbens, I graduated from Lewis & Clark Law and joined the firm as an Associate. Throughout my time here, I have worked on misdemeanor level cases from arraignment through trial, continuing to build experience and strengthen my dedication to criminal defense.
Personal
Outside of work, I am usually spending time with my friends and family. During my free time, I enjoy reading, watching reality television, and going to concerts.
